If ever there was a time for civic engagement, that time is now. Our country is still reeling from the death of George Floyd and the protests it sparked nationwide. Our world is still grappling with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. And now, we face one of the most consequential political elections of our lifetime.
In the words of poet James Weldon Johnson, this is a time to “lift every voice and sing till earth heaven ring, ring with the harmonies of liberty.”
With this campaign, we have collaborated with a range of citizens from Hollywood celebrities to Gen Z'ers and Millennials in a multifaceted digital arts campaign that includes: a viral anthem/video, a virtual art exhibit, and educational curriculum.
